Range of services
Everything from a single source
We always start by analyzing your requirements and providing advice. Because we don’t sell off-the-shelf solutions. This is followed by individual design, production and assembly and, of course, service and maintenance. However, in constantly changing markets, this is no longer enough. Our focus is on energy efficiency and sustainability, in the interests of our customers. We achieve this using sophisticated software and a Digital Twin.

INDISPENSABLE FOR PROCESS RELIABILITY
Mechanical seals are an indispensable element in agitator technology, contributing significantly to the safety and efficiency of industrial processes. Mechanical seals are sealing systems that are mainly used to prevent liquids or gases from escaping from rotating machine parts. In contrast to conventional seals, which are often based on friction-based mechanisms, mechanical seals work with two ring-shaped sealing surfaces that move against each other. Mechanical seals are particularly important in agitator technology, which is used in a wide range of industries. Agitators are used to homogenize liquids or mixtures, support reactions or create suspensions. The agitator shafts, which pass through the container walls, must be sealed to prevent air from entering and the product from escaping. Mechanical seals are the preferred choice here as they can withstand high pressures and temperatures, which is essential in many industrial applications. They also offer a high level of tightness, minimizing the risk of leaks, which can be not only costly but also dangerous.
The way mechanical seals work is based on the movement of two seal rings that are pressed together under pressure. One of the rings is attached to the rotating shaft, while the other remains stationary and is attached to the housing. An extremely thin film of liquid forms between these rings, which lubricates the sealing surfaces and at the same time ensures tightness. The challenge is to maintain this film in order to minimize wear and maximize the sealing effect.
Mechanical seals offer numerous advantages over other sealing technologies: they provide excellent sealing, which is particularly important to prevent leaks in sensitive processes. They are extremely resistant to high pressures, temperatures and aggressive media. Due to the low wear of the sealing surfaces and the ability to maintain the liquid film, mechanical seals have a long service life, which reduces maintenance costs, and they can be adapted to a wide range of agitator types and process conditions, which increases their flexibility.
